John Wooden was more than a basketball coach. He was a teacher and mentor first and foremost whose classroom was a gym. What he did, or his players if you were to ask him, did on the court may never be equaled. What he left his players, UCLA, friends, family and people he never met will last forever. If all you know of John Wooden is UCLA basketball, you are doing yourself a great in service. His greatest lessons were taught off the court. Thank you Mr. Wooden for all that you have left us.
